Crude Oil eases from Five-month highs, Latest Updates on Crude

Latest Updates on Crude Oil: Crude Oil prices slipped on Tuesday, from the five-month high recorded earlier, as economic worries counter tight market.

Brent futures touched their strongest mark since last November at USD71.34/pb on Tuesday, before losing ground to USD70.96 per barrel, down 0.2% from their last close.

US WTI crude oil futures also hit a Nov-2018 high, at USD64.77 per barrel, before easing to USD64.36. The non-commercial futures contracts of WTI Crude Oil futures, reportedly  traded by large speculators and hedge funds, totaled a net position of 4,81,361 contracts, recording a weekly gain of 32742 net contracts.
