Markets rallied to new highs on Wednesday’s first-half trading session and subsequently traded lower turning a flat closing level with Sensex ending at 39,112.74 up by 66 points and the Nifty traded at 11796.80 up by 15 points.
Indiabulls Housing, YesBank, UPL, AdaniPorts and IndusInd bank were among top Nifty losers, while gainers were Tata Steel, Zeel Kotak Bank, NTPC and Titan.
Among the sectors, Nifty auto down 1.11%, Nifty IT down 0.24%, Nifty Metal down 1.60%, Nifty PSU Bank down 0.91%, whereas Bank Nifty up 0.04%, Fin Service up 0.34%, FMCG up 0.02%, Media up 0.36%, Metal up 0.40% and Nifty realty up 1.10%
