Shares dipped in high volatility during Mid-session on Friday with the Nifty slipping at 11910-mark with selling weighed in SBI, ITC, HDFC, and L&T.
The Sensex traded 369 points lower at 40,410 and the 50-share NSE Nifty50 also slipped 107 points, to trade at 11911-mark at 2.25-pm.
The entire Nifty sectoral gauges traded in the red with the PSU Bank index sharply corrected by more than 4%, while the Nifty Media index also slipped near 4%.
Among gainers in the Nifty, Bharti Infratel rose 4.96%, while Kotak Mahindra Bank s also surged 1.29%. Dr.Reddy, JSW Steel and HCLTech rose by up to 1%.
Yes Bank slipped 8.70%, on Rating downgraded by Moodys, the worst among the losers. Zeel also down by 4.51%. SBI, Gail, and HDFC declined by up to 3.8%.
The most active stocks are Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI Indiabulls Housing and Zeel.
