Share indices were flat today, since investors were cautious ahead of Union Budget and December quarter earnings. However, at 1:45 pm, the BSE Sensex is trading at 26,770 while NSE Nifty is trading at 8,248. A total of 32 stocks registered a fresh 52-week high in trade today, while 5 stocks touched a new 52-week low on the NSE.
Tata Motors acquired 1 percent to Rs 505, bouncing back 3 percent from intra-day low on BSE, after the its Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) reported 12% growth in total retail sales of 55,375 vehicles in December 2016 over the previous year.
