Benchmark indices are trading marginally lower in trade on Monday, after clocking a sharp run last week.
Stock to watch out in today’s trade: HUL (Hindustan Unilever Limited) India’s largest consumer packaged goods company in terms of sales will announce its earnings results for the June 2018 quarter today, 16 July 2018. Shares of HUL were trading up by 1.33% at Rs. 1765.85 in the morning hours.
Shares of PC Jeweller were falling considerably in trade The shares fell about 22 percent on NSE, at Rs. 93.55 after the company announced that it has withdrawn the Rs 424 crore buyback proposal.
Shares in Infosys Ltd gained in spite of financial results that did not match expectations. Though the shares dropped in early trade, but subsequently it went up and were last trading at Rs 1353.45, up 2.74% in trade.
Infosy’s profit declined 6.5% to 534 million dollar in the June quarter from 571 million dollar in the foregoing 3 months. Further, Infosys has approved a bonus issue of equity shares in a ratio 1:1 to celebrate its 25 years of stock market listing together announcing the financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2018.
Shares in ICICI Bank fell upto 3.14% at Rs. 259.35 in trade today, after the bank is said to launch a second external investigation on bad loans, as per media report.
