National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE), the India’s largest Exchange by profit, on the eve of its 25th year of existence (Silver Jubilee), launched a new brand identity on Wednesday. The NSE unveiled the new logo as it commenced the Silver jubilee celebration at a function in the National Capital.
The new logo, replaces the two-decade old brown patch that incorporates dashes of marigold, yellow, red and blue symbolizing integrity, excellence, trust and commitment.
The silver jubilee celebration of the premier bourse was graced by former PM Dr.Manmohan Singh, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Vice Chairman of Niti Aayog Rajiv Kumar and Delhi lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
The new branding identity will enable the Exchange to move past legacy issues amid Algorithem trading (Automated Trading) disagreement and co-location issues.
The move further aims at re-building a new image as the NSE is preparing itself to launch its much awaited Initial Public Offering (IPO) issue at anytime early next year.
