The Sensex marginally higher by 25 points at 33,756 levels In the later morning hours, while the Nifty edged down by 5 points at 10445 levels. The rupee opened higher against the US dollar. The shares of TCS, Sun Pharma and ONGC rose, while the shares of Asian Paints and Tata Motors fell. IT stocks were trading higher with TCS up 1.8%, Infosys up 2%, Wipro up 1.1%, Tech Mahindra Ltd rose 1.3% and HCL Tech spurts 2.1%.
Shares of Gujarat Gas Ltd fell 3% to Rs928.50 in the early hours after the company reported 12% fall in its net profit for Sept quarter to Rs. 61.08 crore against Rs 69.41 cr, an year ago period.
