Key benchmark indices witness increased buying pressure through the mid-session-with IT stocks registering the highest gains.
The Nifty IT index went upwards over 1.65 percent higher at 16,125.40 at around 12-noon. Meantime Sensex scaled higher by 405 points at 38814, and the Nifty stood at 11366, up by 115 points.
HCL Technologies rose 3.03-pc, TCS rose 2.75-pc, Tata Elxsi rose 2.03-pc, Wipro rose 1.70-pc and were among top index gainers on the IT stocks
