The Nifty Sectoral indices on the NSE were mainly trading lower with major losses in IT, media and Media indexes.
Domestic shares edged lower on Tuesday, led by losses in IT, media & realty stocks. At 12.40-hrs, the benchmark Sensex traded 188 points lower to 40,298. The Fifty-share NSE Nifty declined 59 points to trade at 11,878-mark.
Nifty IT slipped 1.26% with all ten constituents falling. Just Dial, TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, NIIT Tech, MindTree, and Wipro slipped in between 1 to 2 percent.
Among major stock buzz, Dilip Buildcon rose 1.29 to Rs.382/share after the company was declared the lowest bidder for a project worth Rs825.6-cr by Delhi Metro.
