Indian Equity benchmark indices carried on gain for the second straight trading session as the price in Crude oil prices slumped as well as positive macro-economic signals. Hero MotorCorp, HDFC bank, Bajaj Finseve and ICICI Bank are among the top contributors to the Nifty index gain.
At 10.45-hrs, the BSE Sensex was higher at is 604 points at 40,476 and the NSE’s Nifty50 is up by 174 points at 11,8882.
Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco, Indian Oil Corp, ITC and Reliance were the Nifty50 top gainers, and conversely Yes Bank, Eicher Motors, Bharti Airtel and Kotak Mahindra Bank led the losses.
The entire sectoral indices are seen trading in the green, with the Metal, media, Banking, Financial, IT and auto indices up.

IT Stocks climbed over 1.54 percent with major gins in Tata Elxsi, Hexaware and NIIT Tech upto 6 percent.
Among major results announcement today, TVS Motor, Bharti Airtel, Thermax Tata Global Beverages, Titan Company, PNB, Adani Ports and Adani Green energy have scheduled to report their Q3FY20 numbers today.
