Indian shares edged lower on Tuesday, posting a second consecutive losing session as software stocks remained under pressure a day after Infosys Ltd trimmed its U.S. dollar revenue growth guidance. On economic front, Industrial Production grew by 6.4% for the month of August, an improvement over the 4.2% growth registered in the previous month of June, official data showed on Monday On the global front, poor trade data from China dampened sentiment. China’s imports fell 20 percent in September and exports slipped 3.7 percent fuelling growth concerns in the world’s second largest economy. The 30-share BSE Sensex declined 57.58 points to 26846.53 and the 50-share NSE Nifty fell 11.90 points to 8131.70 after hitting day’s low of 8088.60.
