On Thursday morning session, the key benchmark indices opened on a lower note. The Nifty moved to surround 11,330-levels while Sensex marked 38174-levels, down 0.30% on both benchmarks.
Yes Bank rose 23%, Zeel rose 6.3% and Tata Motors advanced 5% which were among top Nifty Gainers. On the backside, IndusInd Bank lost 4.50%, Coal India slips 3.5% and Hindalco down 2.5% as top losers.
During mid-morning at 11.20 am, it was observed that the Nifty Realty index along with the Nifty Media Bank Index went up 2.64% and 2.35% each. At the same time, major falls in the sector were observed in the Nifty Metal and the Private bank index.
The Gains in the Nifty Realty index was boosted by the stocks such as Godrej Properties and DLF ( up 5.87 & 4.20% each). The Media Index gained mainly by Dish TV, Zee Entertainment and NewWork-18-Media, 4 to 8% in range.
