Markets opened lower on Wednesday, Nov-4, led by weak global markets.
At 10.05-am, the indices improved from the low, with the Sensex stood at 40,738, up 62 points, and the Nifty too trade higher at 12011-mark up 17 points.
Tata Motors, Infratel, ICICI Bank, Eicher and ONGC are leading in the Nifty pack of stocks, while JSW Steel, Bajaj Finseve, L&T, Coal India and Tata Steel slipped.
The majority of the sectoral picked up from the opening low, with Nifty Bank, Auto, IT Media, PSU Bank, and media witnessing buying pressure.
The major stock rise was seen in the PSU Bank, pushing the index up by 1.39% to 2,606.75. OBC, Canara Bank, J&K bank were leading upto 4.4%.

PSU-Banking index was seen as the second top loser down by 0.92%. PNB, Jammu&Kashmir bank, Union Bank, Canara Bank were the top losers in the PSU banking index.
